Brandon Carr is a 13-year NFL veteran defensive back from Flint, Michigan. He grew up the youngest son of John and Kathy Carr. After being a star football player at Carman-Ainsworth High School, he continued his career at Grand Valley State University where he competed on two national championship teams while becoming a Division-2 All-American.
In 2008, the Kansas City Chiefs selected Brandon in the fifth round of the NFL draft. After playing four seasons with the Chiefs, Brandon went on to play six seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. He is one of the most durable players in NFL history after starting 192 consecutive games over a 12-year span. He received the nickname “IronHorse” due to his durability and consistency as a player.
While his on the field accolades speak for themselves, Carr is most proud of his family and off the field community work. Carr has been nominated for the prestigious NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year Award a total of four times due to his charity work and excellence on the field. He has remained steadfast in his commitment to improving the lives of underserved youth in his community.
